How 'bout reading the errata notice before making such a statement.
I installed the RH8 version.(sendmail-8.12.8-1.80) It was newer than the current beta version. (sendmail-8.12.7-7)
For situations that the latest release has programs that are newer than the latest beta, the latest official release version should be made available for the beta channel.
Is there a way to access both the latest released version and the beta channel at the same time? That way, it would add some security to the beta test.
