I noticed that a lot of the people on the list were complaining about not having updated sendmail packages, with the risks attached to it. However, i haven't seen anyone saying they recompiled the erate release from red hat 8 for their systems. So to atleast put the mind of the people at easy who do not want to, or can not compile their own sendmail.src.rpm i've compiled the update on phoebe3 so you can update your system and not be wurried about exploits anymore:

Europian users:
http://ds059.xs4all.nl/rpms/sendmail-8.12.8-1.i386.rpm
http://ds059.xs4all.nl/rpms/sendmail-cf-8.12.8-1.i386.rpm
http://ds059.xs4all.nl/rpms/sendmail-devel-8.12.8-1.i386.rpm
http://ds059.xs4all.nl/rpms/sendmail-doc-8.12.8-1.i386.rpm

US users:
http://chabotc.com/rpms/sendmail-8.12.8-1.i386.rpm
http://chabotc.com/rpms/sendmail-cf-8.12.8-1.i386.rpm
http://chabotc.com/rpms/sendmail-devel-8.12.8-1.i386.rpm
http://chabotc.com/rpms/sendmail-doc-8.12.8-1.i386.rpm

To update:
Download the 4 packages from either two locations to a temp directory. cd to that temp directory, and type
# rpm -Fvh sendmail*.rpm

Both boxes are on 100mbit links so should be able to handle everyone on the list downloading them if need be

Do note, you can find the src.rpm in updates/8.0/en/os/SRPMS on any redhat mirror. If you install that, edit the .spec file and set
the errata define to 100 (rawhide/rh beta) and compile from there (rpmbuild -ba --clean sendmail.spec) you will get the same resulting files.

And now please no one give me an argumentation again that they are vunerable because of beta policies, anyone could've done this!
