But the point is that there isn't time to re-evaluate. Even if htree is now completely stable, it would take at least a 4th beta to test it properly, and probably a delay of about a month on the final release. I can't see RedHat wanting to do that. I am afraid you will have to wait for the 8.2 betas for htree to reappear.
Of course, I'd rather get 8.1 sooner and maybe get htree in a later errata kernel - or a custom kernel, if it comes to that - but by all means, do ship 8.1 sooner than later!
