I have 2 peculiar problems with XMMS on my installation. The first I believe has to do with the third party mp3 support.Whenever I am playing mp3s, if I do anything else, mp3 playback is affected, and I get these annoying skips. I do not seem to get this problem with ogg files though.
The second is that under GNOME2.2, XMMS refuses to minimize by clicking on the panel, it wants me to click the minimize button on the app itself, which is very inconvenient, given its extremely small size. Does anyone know a fix for any of these problems. I also cannot get ALSA to work, yet my sound-card, a Zoltrix with the CMedia chip, is listed as supported.
