I am in the enviable position of have a fast machine with
lots of fast disk space at my disposal for a few weeks so
I put all the iso's on my hard drive. Thinking "everything"
as the lazy man's way, I did exactly that, so I can now install
and re-install things rather quickly.

After sitting back with a coffee, I began to suspect the
point you made above and have since installed the system
twice. Once as "Server" with all packages checked (except
everything) and once as "Custom" and "Everything". The
latter is hosed.

Thanks for the advice.
Ray

PS: Is it worth me banging on a kitchen sink install and
trying to isolate bugs one at a time or do you guys
at Redhat have a way to find these dependency conflicts
in a somewhat automated fashion as the release matures?
