Still curious about this in teh offcial releases by RH.... However, I'm just making this followup as I've located a better driver that works, no guarantees with it, it still needs lot of work but does the job for at least depth of 16 in 640x480, so if you like I have been stuck on the grain filled VESA driver for this MB's onboard video, check out : ftp://ftp.auschat.net/pub/misc/sis650-rh73.tar.gz
