CD recording operations in Phoebe is badly broken... AYOR. (Have a look around in RH bugzilla for more insight on this).
Really? I haven't had any CD burning problems. In fact, CD burning has worked better in Phoebe (faster, no errors, works on an old obscure recorder) than in Psyche.
But is that related to CD ripping? I wasn't doing any recording.
I haven't had much luck with really great CD burning. I'm getting ready to try to compile another version of the 2.5.65 kernel to see if it works better for recording CDR's.
My first kernel attempt compiled alright for the kernel portion, but it failed for the modules. If I get it correct on this attempt, it should be an interesting comparison. I assume that the write module for ntfs caused the modules error.
