If they stick to stated policies it should be out within those timescales,
since 2.1AS appeared in May 2002, and a 6 month beta means that 3QCY2003
release requires a beta to appear in the next 6 days. A more interesting
question, though one you are less likely to get an answer to, is whether
2.2AS (or whatever the next version will be) will be based on 8.0 or 9.
