Oh, please! It's Red Hat Linux 9! Not 9.0...
Ok. Pardon my ignorance. I have only now joined this list.
My question more accurately is, with context:
I've been using RH8.0. I've been loading all updates and fixes.
What is the difference between an up-to-date 8.0
and "Red Hat Linux 9!"
Also, what are the differences are between 8.0 and the final beta Phoebe 3 ?
Thank you.
Phoebe went further into experimental development than RH 9 will release as.
There are new erratta within RH 8 that Phoebe3 did not recieve.
For me, the major differences between 8 and the beta are the menu structure and the fact that my scanner works with phoebe within the GNOME desktop.
Some of my favorite programs were eliminated also.
