Considering that I've downloaded several past versions of RH linux
for free, I think it only fair that _for once_ I pay for their software.
After all you don't hear the great unwashed masses (of which I am
a member) balking at paying for constant upgrades for various
versions and flavours of Windows, do you?

Well, in my part of the island of Montreal, we *do* recycle. ... and I
guess I oughta send you a pic of the neat lamp that I made with my
stack of coasters and empty CD spindle cases! <*chuckle*>

I'd be extremely suprised to see *that* here. Montreal is still VERY MUCH
a "Windows" town! Nevertheless, I was pleasantly shocked in the past
few years to actually find myself talking to technicians of either Videotron
(cable) Multiservices (ISP) and Bell Sympatico who are actually using linux,
and could actually give intellingent responses (including links) to set up
cable and / or ADSL support. Mind you, Bell Canada does *not* "offficially"
support linux.

Last year, when I had a very brief flirt with ADSL and Bell Sympatico's
"high-speed edition", a technican sent me various linux links ... and quickly
apologized (in a rather terrified tone) when he realized that he had sent
me that info using his "official" sympatico email account.

Repeat after me: "Ma Bell can go to hell".
