Hi,

A person has a VV-VI that was put into a console, it is a lot more deluxe of a
console than the one I have. Unfortunately the frame was screwed directly into
the VV-VI itself. This cabinet has a light that appears to have a switch on
the top which I assume allows the light to come on when the cabinet lid is
open.

The light is hooked up to a battery that has a label on the front that says:
Record Flasher
Tungsten Battery
Manufactured for the Standard Accessory Corporation
By American Ever Ready Works

I assumed that this was just a light but wanted to make sure. I can send a
photo to whoever is interested.

All phonograph and record collectors are invited to participate in the
"Sounds of Nostalgia" phonogrpah and radio sale on February 13 in Salem,
Oregon. Tables are only $23 and can be reserved by contacting Karen Huston
at 503-769-8042 or [email protected] It is always a great sale and a
good time. Last year I picked up a Vic IV and a Standard Talking Machine
Model H. This year ????
On Saturday, February 12th, collectors are invited to an open house at
our home in Albany, Oregon. Albany is only thirty minutes from the Salem
Collectors Market. Our tenative plan is to gather around 2pm and finish
the day at Izzy's for some great pizza. Happy Collecting, Jerry
