HI John,
    I sympathize with you but am glad to see you haven't lost your sense of 
humor.  It looks like you might be able to repair most of the damage but the 
machine will never be what it should be and retain the original value.  You 
might be able to make a settlement with the insuror based on this fact.  Who 
was the shipper?  More importantly did you keep all of the original 
packaging?  It's important to have it when filing a damage claim.
