Hi Al, Steve the reproducer nut here.
This is the last type of the M, it was made into a trowel like the model O to reduce wear on the wax four minute records. There are at least four types of the M I know of. The first M has a flattened K type weight, I know of one that used to belong to Aaron Cramer. The second has the short turn over rod that is unique to the M with the M stamped on top of the round weight. The next type has the M stamped underneath with the short stem. The next has the long stem that is the same as the model O. The final version of the M has the trowel like the final version of the O. I will send you a photo of the early L and the info I have on the early L and M if you are interested. All I have are photos. Can you tell by serial numbers when they were produced? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steven Medved" <steve_nor...@msn.com> To: "Phono-l" <phono-l@oldcrank.org> Sent: Monday, March 02, 2009 3:08 PM Subject: RE: [Phono-L] Opera like Phonograph?
