The popular series of DDs above record number 52088 are electrically recorded. This is why the "52000 series" is so much in demand and commands much higher prices than the earlier record numbers. Electrical recording was also done on some of the other series, starting with numbers 57025, 59305, 60063, 80885, and 82351.

Subject: [Phono-L] Electrically Cut Edison DD's

Hi fellow collectors,
Does anyone know what series numbers Edison used for his electrically cut DD's? A good friend of mine bought an Edisonic Schubert in Portland last week. If anyone has any electrically cut DD's for sale, let me know, and I will pass it on to him.
