Hello --  I hope someone on this list can help me with a tough problem.  I have
a 1930s Japanese Mikky Phone miniature phonograph which is missing the crank.
The crank would be a miniature drop-off or slotted crank which I think is
_very_ similar to those in Swiss-made miniatures such as the Kompact (or other
Plaza Music machines with Swiss motors) or the Thorens Excelda.  Many aspects
of the Mikky Phone motor seem to be almost dead ringers mechanically to these
instruments.  Would anyone on this list have an original or reasonable
substitute  crank for sale?  I'd be astonished and pleased if you did, and even
if you don't any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated (such
as a scale photo of the right crank so I could fashion something).  Many thanks
for any help you can give me -- Philip Carli
