Hello Al, Your post helped tremendously.  I did not think the B-VIII had its 
own serial numbers.  I appreciate knowing 1000 sold, I wonder how many were 
lost?  The fire got rid of all the Amberola machines except for the 30 50 and 
75.  I wonder if not for the fire if the variety of machines would have helped 
cylinder record sales.   Steve
