Subject: Re: [Phono-L] Victor I question

The Victor I used back-bracket/elbow parts UNIQUE to it. Parts from other
machines can not be substituted. There is some anecdotal evidence to suggest
that in the period 1915 - 1920 those small numbers of Victor I's being
produced may finally have acquired back-brackets virtually identical to
contemporary Victor II's, but these machines are extremely rare and
therefore do not enter into the discussion.

Best wishes,

Phono List:

Are the back-bracket and tone arm from a Victor I & II interchangeable?

Are the parts needed interchangeable from other

machines workable as well?
