You can also do phone bidding – they have you on the line at the time the item is up for bids or you can do a reserve bid. Since the CDN dollar is lower that the US$ right now, you would get it cheaper.
The sale is Jan 1 and starts at 11 a.m. Mountain Time. There is an airport (small) at Wainwright as there are quite a few that do fly in for these sales. Many hotels available.
