Could you give a snapshot a try?

http://snaps.php.net/

The scanner is supposed to ignore whitespace.

This applicable for browsers that don't allow cookies:

The following is not working:
<a class="subMenu"
        href="<?php if (!isset($currentMenu))
                        echo $smUrlRefs[$key];
                else echo "../" . $smUrlRefs[$key]; ?>">
                Menu </a>

But if href is on the same line as <a> tag, it works:
<a class="subMenu" href="<?php if (!isset($currentMenu))
 echo
$smUrlRefs[$key];
                else echo "../" . $smUrlRefs[$key]; ?>">
                Menu </a>
