Have you tried compiling pdflib with external pnglib? Always worked in the past. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-04-26 21:23:10] [EMAIL PROTECTED] And your pdflib configure line? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-04-26 21:18:30] [EMAIL PROTECTED] The simplest configuration I can get it to crash with is: configure --with-zlib --with-gd --with-png-dir=/usr --with-jpeg-dir=/usr --pdflib I'm just building the CGI version because it is easier than doing a 'make install' and restarting the Apache etc, but this bug does affect the Apache DSO build as well. The weird thing is that this works fine with PHP 4.1.2, AND the libpng 1.2.1. There's something over at http://www.pdflib.com/pdflib/patches.html which sounds almost relevant (although it affects TIFF routines).
