PHP Bug Type:     MySQL related
Bug description:  Can't connect to mysql

we have recompiled php,and use PHPMyAdmin to connect to database. But, I
can't connect to mysql with message error :
user localhost@localdomain is no allowed to connect to mysql.

When I checked the problem using phpinfo, it says that mysql is enabled
and mysql socket being used is /tmp/sock.

Can you help me with this problem ?
