well.... not good news.
It seems as in the code there is no control on
the IB version you are using ,
and the compiler is looking for new Api added in IB6 and later .....
change status --> critical
category --> Interbase

Get error on make when trying to compile with
'--with-interbase=/usr/interbase'.
Worked fine with php-4.1.2
I get the following error :
