From: fxbois at gmail dot com Operating system: RHEL3 PHP version: 5.2.5 PHP Bug Type: Session related Bug description: php loosing local session.save_path
Description: ------------ Hi, I want to report that PHP 5.2.5 loose the local session.save_path. I set it with session_save_path() but just after, when I look at its value, it contains the master value instead of the value just setted. This happens after a short period of time. (Just after restrating apache everything works fine). It is a big security problem in my opinion. System : - Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 3 (Taroon Update 8) - PHP 5.2.5 - Apache/2.0.46 Reproduce code: --------------- // master value is /home/.tmp $new = '2;0777;web/tmp'; session_save_path($new); echo session_save_path(); Expected result: ---------------- 2;0777;web/tmp Actual result: -------------- /home/.tmp -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=43819&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 4.4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=trysnapshot44 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=trysnapshot52 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.3): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=trysnapshot53 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=43819&r=mysqlcfg
