Please provide a full selfcontained script so we can reproduce this problem (or url with php source for download and the binary you want to send). The rest of the file in which mail() is executed is ignored and there is no error message from PHP. There is no problem sending simple text messages, only with multi-part encoded messages. This problem occurs either when using the local SMTP server or a remote SMTP server, as specified in php.ini.
