Hi, I'm experiencing the same problem on Windows platform. Throwing an Exception causes PHP to crash. Using PHP5.3-dev latest snapshot, running as Apache 2.2.8 module. I used a configure of "./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/bin/apxs2".
