On Windows, phpinfo shows for oci8 : Version : 1.2.4 Revision : $Revision: 1.269.2.16.2.38 $ On Linux (Zend Core 2.5), phpinfo shows : Version : 1.2.3 Revision : $Revision: 1.269.2.16.2.30 $ This older version corresponds to the source code on http://www.php.net/downloads.php. The more recent version contains the fix to bug #41594 - Statement cache is flushed too frequently.
