PHP Bug Type: XSLT related
Bug description: Suggestion: registerObjectMethods()
Description:
------------
A suggestion: it would be useful if there was a
registerObjectMethods() that worked in a similar way to
registerPHPFunctions() except that it took an object upon which
methods could be called. i.e. something like
class Greet {
public function byName($name) {
return "Hello, $name";
}
}
$xml = DOMDocument::loadXML("<root/>");
$xsl = DOMDocument::loadXML("... <xsl:value-of
select="php:call('byName', 'Michael')"/> ...");
$proc = new XSLTProcessor();
$proc->registerObjectMethods(new Greet());
$proc->importStyleSheet($xsl);
echo $proc->transformToXML($xml);
