From: sle at ocf dot berkeley dot edu Operating system: Solaris 10 PHP version: 5.3.1 PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure Bug description: undefined symbol nanosleep
Description: ------------ Compiling PHP 5.3.1 on Solaris 10 with gcc version 3.4.3 (/usr/sfw/bin/gcc) produces the following error at the end of the compile: Undefined first referenced symbol in file nanosleep ext/standard/.libs/basic_functions.o ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to sapi/cgi/php-cgi I was able to successfully compile PHP 5.3.0 with the same configure/build options. I think this may be related to bug #49809. However, I've tried reversing the patch made to fix that bug and that does not fix the problem. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=50345&edit=1 -- Try a snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=trysnapshot52 Try a snapshot (PHP 5.3): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=trysnapshot53 Try a snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in SVN: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=fixed Fixed in SVN and need be documented: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=needdocs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=globals PHP 4 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=php4 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=50345&r=mysqlcfg
