Please double-check the documentation available at http://www.php.net/manual/ and the instructions on how to report a bug at http://bugs.php.net/how-to-report.php With an expression like do_something($foo = 'bar'); the behavior is undefined. We don't guarantee i which order the function call and the assignment are being executed. This might change any time.
