Btw, we can't change this encoding to UTF-8 for the fun of it, that'll
break BC.

As I said, works just fine here (vc9/10/6, english, german, French and
Spanish windows localized). Check your config.

Chinese encoding 936, however English one doesn't work either

There is nothing in vc10 that is different than VC9 in this area.



What's the language set in your settings?

Possibly because I am using VC++10 or some software affect that because
I have cygwin and mingw on my computer
