Please try using this CVS snapshot: http://snaps.php.net/php4-latest.tar.gz For Windows: http://snaps.php.net/win32/php4-win32-latest.zip Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-11-21 00:48:59] [EMAIL PROTECTED] PHP crashes when using gzuncompress(). This happens rarely, but repeatably. Most cases it is OK, but sometimes it crashes. I have one such string that will make PHP and zLib crash. I will have to send it privately, however, since it contains customer data (in compressed form). There is a way around the problem: If I manually supply a large enough length argument, it will not crash. Seems like it could be a boundary condition, though maybe it is inside zLib itself. Compiled and linked zLib is 1.1.4. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=20535&edit=1
