Is this patch included in 5.2.14 RC 1 and if so what is the expected time frame

I have included the patch #51263 (SVN 293268) which solved the problem on my
openSUSE/PHP 5.2.13 version.

You can install it locally very easily as well or you don't even have to
install PHP but simply compile it with GD support and test your script using
the freshly built PHP.

Unfortunately, I've been unable to convince our network staff to try a beta
version of PHP out on our dev servers. Would you like some snippets of code to
try on yours? I feel bad asking you to help me but then not being able to help
you.
