Do you have the latest buildtools? Can you add the buildconf output here too? And try doing './cvsclean' before running './buildconf'. If you are using the latest buildtools, try removing configure and executing 'buildconf'. If that still doesn't work, re-open the bug report. Basically - the tempname created is created with '.exe' extension, but returned to the shell var without it.
