Had similar problem with intermittent translator and/or isapi dll crashes. I would get a page with "PHP has encountered an Access Violation at xxxxxxxxxxx" and this would lock-up PHP totally. I took the advise of [5 Dec 11:26am] [EMAIL PROTECTED] and got the latest dev build (4.4.0-dev) and replaced all the 4.2.3 dlls with the 4.4.0-dev dlls and this problem has cleared up.
