Try putting the output of 'curl-config --prefix' as the value for --with-curl. Ex: --with-curl=`curl-config --prefix ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-12-27 22:17:57] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Successfully obtained the PHP 4.3.0 release from anonymous CVS. ./buildconf ran successfully, however, ./configure fails with the following error: "checking for cURL 7.9.8 or greater... configure: error: cURL version 7.9.8 or later is required to compile php with cURL support" I updated cURL with the latest version (7.10.2) as evidenced by: "[root@server php4]# curl -V curl 7.10.2 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) libcurl/7.10.2 OpenSSL/0.9.6b zlib/1.1.3" however, I still get the error when attempting to run ./configure. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=21231&edit=1
