OK - just checked, and php crashes regardless of the '@'  before
getimagesize

And do you get any error with the getimagesize() ?
(remove that @ in front of it)

this happens with every image.

offending image.

when calling this function, php.exe (4.3.0 as CGI in IIS4) is crashing.
remark out the 'getimagesize' line, and it won't crash.

i can email my php.ini on request.
