Exact output is: ld: fatal: file /opt/sfw/mysql/lib/mysql/.libs/libmysqlclient.so: open failed: No such file or directory ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to .libs/libphp4.so Again, why is it lokking for the MySQL client library in ".libs" ? PHP: ./configure --with-mysql=/opt/sfw/mysql --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs PHP configure runs fine, and the build works up to link. It then fails with: Cannot find /opt/sfw/mysql/lib/mysql/.lib/libmysqlclient.so Where is the ".lib" coming from?
