 Status: Bogus
 Bug Type: Session related
 Operating System: Linux debian 2.4.18-orig
 PHP Version: 4.2.1
 New Comment:

Why doesn't it imply a bug in php? It seems to be the same problem I
have. php loses its sessions. The cookie is set and ignored afterwards
and set new.

You get a test at http://cms.lichti-edv.de/about.php. The code is shown
first and then the output generated by it.

Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PHP itself. For a
list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PHP, please
visit http://www.php.net/support.php as this bug system is not the
appropriate forum for asking support questions.

Thank you for your interest in PHP.

Ask support on the mailing lists, this is not likely
any bug in PHP..
