I tried the standard one with RH 7.3 (gcc-2.96.110) and the updated RHN (gcc-2.96-113). Both gave me the same results. When compiled with --disable-debug, I got the Segmentation fault problem with session_start(), but when I use --enable-debug on compile, the SEGV simply vanishes. I'd like to ask if there is another way to get important info to fix it (I cannot use the --enable-debug version on the production server because I need Zend Optimizer and Zend Debugger, and they only work with the --disable-debug version of PHP). I'm available to solve this with you, as this is my primary concern now. I'm waiting your answer. Cheers, Juvenal A.
