I actually first noticed it using the page last mod date testing
BadBlue :-) But yes, date shows incorrect also. This has been around
a LONG time through several versions. I am not a C coder, but with the
100% reproduceable results, you'd think it'd be an easy fix. Shows you
what I know... =|;-)

I just submitted a bug with the exact same thing, but this is
reproducible on my XP machine.
I get "BST" as well, and I'm in America/Los_Angeles (should be "PST" or
"PDT"). Coincidentally, my problem was while using filemtime() (I note
that you used getlastmod()), but it also works when using date() naked.
