From: stebo at steboserv dot net Operating system: redhat 9 PHP version: 4.3.3 PHP Bug Type: *Compile Issues Bug description: compile doesn't create a PHP executable
Description: ------------ Using Redhat Linux 9 with auto security patches up to PHP 4.2.2 when I run compile as a module, no PHP executable is generated and the make runs fine with no errors. Both the php.ini.dist and *.recommended BOTH cause PHP to serve blank pages. This may be my own ignorance. But if you make a Windows executable installer, then why not Redhat RPM?? I see the bug report #12117 however the install instructions included in the 4.3.3 source does NOT specifically state how to create the PHP executable. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=25595&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (php4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=trysnapshot4 Try a CVS snapshot (php5): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=trysnapshot5 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=needtrace Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=25595&r=float
