This turned out to be a problem with a setting in the INI file. I have tested it with: My Laptop - Windows 2000/IIS6/PHP as an ISAPI Module - This fails My Laptop - Windows 2000/Apache2/PHP as an ISAPI Module - This fails Friends hosted Site - Linux/Apache 1.3.28/CGI - Works. It appears to be a problem related to one of two things. It is either the Web Server. The problem does not occur on a Apache web server which my friend is running here http://www.anthong.com/MRivera/index.php. It does occur on a IIS web server which I am running locally on my laptop. It can either be the php.ini or the Web server. Sorry to inconvenience you. Any assistance is appreciated.
