This bug has been fixed in CVS. In case this was a PHP problem, snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change will be in the next snapshot. You can grab the snapshot at http://snaps.php.net/. In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up soon at http://www.php.net/manual/. I have disable_functions set as: disable_functions = system, exec, passthru, proc_open, shell_exec, popen If i create a test script: <? system("ls"); exec("ls"); ?> I get the following output: Warning: system, exec, passthru, proc_open, shell_exec, popen() has been disabled for security reasons in /pathtoscript/test.php on line 2 Warning: exec, passthru, proc_open, shell_exec, popen() has been disabled for security reasons in /pathtoscript/test.php on line 3 The expected output should just show the single function name which you are trying to use.
