Bug description: configure in 5.0-RC2 does not look for mysqlclient in lib64
Description:

The configure script has it hardcoded to search in lib/
or lib/mysql/ for the libmysqlclient library.
At least in SUSE Linux 9.0 64-bit, you must add lib64/
to this search path so that it runs correctly.
Here is a patch to configure, though I guess you guys
need to patch the script that generates configure:
