PATH_INFO is not supported by all web servers. Your script is not showing any info because you have no path. Try typing the follwing url into your browser: http://whatever.your.host.is/test.html/blah/bling/blee You will see that the $_SERVER['PATH_INFO'] consists of: "/blah/bling/blee" and nothing else.
