Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PHP itself. For a list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PHP, please visit http://www.php.net/support.php as this bug system is not the appropriate forum for asking support questions. Thank you for your interest in PHP. (And yes, it would reintroduce the security holes) Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2004-12-22 15:41:15] jerry at lacknergroup dot com Description: ------------ I have to disagree that bug report #31179 is bogus. I've had almost the same issue, moving from Php 4.3.8 to 4.3.10, but i get this message when starting the Apache service: "...Cannot load c:/apache13/php/sapi/php4apache.dll into server: (126) The specified module could not be found..." That dll does exist in that location. I also (like the original submitter) did not change httpd.conf at all. I have been able to (apparently) resolve the issue by copying php4apache.dll from the previous (4.3.8) installation to the new (4.3.10) installation. I don't know if this re-introduces the security issue that 4.3.10 fixes, but it does allow me to host pages. Apache 1.3.31 on Windows XP SP1.
