From: vladymyr_ca at yahoo dot ca Operating system: RH 7.3 PHP version: 4.3.10 PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure Bug description: --with-oci8-instant-client[=DIR] problem
Description: ------------ Actually it's a 4.3.11 problem I was using Download: .gz (4.7M) Built On: Mar 24, 2005 17:30 GMT May be just documentation should be changed Currently it is stating that "if you're using Oracle Instant Client, you need to build PHP with the option --with-oci8-instant-client[=DIR]. Note that Oracle Instant Client support first appeared in versions 4.3.11" "where DIR defaults to your environment variable ORACLE_HOME." but in configure script /lib is expected to be included in this pass, and /lib is not a part of ORACLE_HOME When running configure for --with-oci8-instant-client=ORACLE_HOME/lib everything is OK -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=32447&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (php4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=trysnapshot4 Try a CVS snapshot (php5.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=trysnapshot50 Try a CVS snapshot (php5.1): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=trysnapshot51 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=32447&r=mysqlcfg
