hello there. I'm not asking you to fix my script, I'm asking you to fix the bug in PHP. The bug has been there for ages. Please explain why you it's not the bug in PHP. Please see http://lv2.php.net/fopen It states that by calling fopen('name','w') a file will be created if it does not exist and the permissions all OK. well, it DOES NOT GET CREATED when safe_mode is on.
