I have the same error after i installed flex 2.5.4 and bison 1.28.
I can't do "make" for generate php files, i have this error
yacc /usr/local/php-4.4.2/ext/standard/parsedate.y
yacc: 1285-742 The escape is not valid or expect is not a reserved word.
