 New Comment:

Not really, I'm able to try it on a test Solaris box running the same
version of PHP and Apache and it works fine. But when I try to compile
using --enable-xslt --with-xslt-sablot and restart apache it errors on
this server. What can cause this error message to occur? Are there any
links that could be causing this problem?

Does the problem appear when you use GNU make and GNU ld ?

I've tried your recommendations but continue to get the same error
message. Any other recommendations that I can try next?

Installed / compiled the latest PHP version 4.4.2. However, I'm still
getting the error message below when trying to start apache.

Syntax error on line 231 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/local/apache/modules/libphp4.so into server: ld.so.1:
/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd: fatal: relocation error: file
/usr/local/lib/libstdc++.so.6: symbol __eprintf: referenced symbol not
found

Any suggestions?

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem with PHP.
Unfortunately you are not using a current version of PHP --
the problem might already be fixed. Please download a new
PHP version from http://www.php.net/downloads.php

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest
versions of PHP, please change the PHP version on this bug report
to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open".
Again, thank you for your continued support of PHP.
